God placed Adam & Eve in the garden and instructed them to NOT to eat from the tree of knowledge least they die; Adam & Eve ate from the tree of knowledge and sinned and sin entered all of mankind. Gen 3
God gave His only Son, the Lamb of God (Jesus), to become the sacrifice for man’s sin through believing in His Son’s sacrifice. John 1:29 & 3:16, Rev 14:12
We are to conduct ourselves as God defined by His commandments Rev 14:12 & Rev 22:14; leading our lives as His Son lived; loving the Lord God Almighty with all that we are (Duet 6:5) and loving our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:28-31); serving God through prayers and fastings. Luke 2:37; Mat 6:18, Mark 2:20; (numerous examples of Jesus praying in the scriptures).
When our time is done, we will be found with God; the first resurrection into a 1,000 year reign with the God and Jesus, then the forever. Rev 20:6, Rev 21-22; Dan 2:44
